I am jayanthi, the face behind this blog

I am a Mallu (Keralite), born and brought up in Tamil Nadu. Currently settled down in Germany. Married to Satish, a Tamilian and blessed with 2 boys, Srijith and Dhruv. My cooking experiments mostly revolve around these guys and their tastebuds. 😅

Though I experiment with all cuisines across the world, having lived in Hyderabad for a long time and a short stint in Bangalore, you will find me cooking a lot of South Indian food across these four south Indian states.

I’m vegetarian by choice but occasionally cook meat for my older son. My focus is to cook with locally sourced ingredients but it gets hard if I want to cook Indian food. So sometimes you will find fusion food here. 😁

I love baking, be it quiches, pizzas, scones, galettes, breads or occasional birthday cakes.
